Obituary of Lucy Mahan

Hillsborough - Lucy Mahan age 74 died on March 29, 2024 at Robert Wood Johnson in Somerville.  She was born on April 4, 1949 in Pereira, Colombia to her parents Nini Santana Echeverry and Gabriel Velasquez.  She was predeceased by her parents, a sister and two brothers.  She is  survived by her daughter Claudia Heredia, grandsons Daniel and Sergio, two sisters and 2 brothers.

Lucy was a communicanat of Mary Mother of God Church in Hillsborough, where she spent much time in prayer.  She was a devoted mother and loving "Abuelita",  She enjoyed walking, gardening, cooking and spending time with dear friends.  Lucy was a self employed beautician.  She was a kind, caring and generous person; she will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

A viewing will be held at Bongiovi Funeral Home, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan on Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 2 PM - 7 PM.
